President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed hosted the Official Independence Day Assembly 2019 at Dharubaaruge this evening, extending warm salutations to those present on the eve of our country's 54th anniversary of Independence
Vice Pesident Faisal Naseem and his spouse, Mrs Aishath Shamsadha also participated in the assembly and greeted the esteemed guests, among which were included: Speaker of the House, former President Mohamed Nasheed; members of the People’s Majlis, members of the Cabinet, State Ministers and long-serving members of the Government.
We wish all of them, and all of our beloved citizens, a very happy Independence Day.
