Vice President Faisal Naseem has met with the President of Kamadhoo Island Council of South Maalhosmadulu Atoll this morning at the President’s Office.

During the meeting, the Councillor discussed concerns raised by Kamadhoo residents, as well as various development projects. The President of the council also highlighted the most pertinent and urgent needs of residents, including the need for a water and sewage system. He also expressed concern regarding the healthcare facility and the growth required in the education sector in the island, as well as various other matters raised by residents of the island.

The Vice President reiterated the administration's stance to conduct nationwide infrastructural projects which would benefit all of Maldives' residents and stated that the government would take necessary action after discussing with relevant line ministries to address the specific issues and concerns raised by the Kamadhoo Island Council.
