President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived in the Maldives this afternoon on the conclusion of the official visit made to India yesterday. The visit was made on the invitation of the Indian government.
During the visit, the President met with the Cricket Board of India and held extensive discussions on structuring a cricket stadium in the Maldives in the attempt of developing cricket in the country. Moreover, the President met with the Maldivian community residing in Bangalore and witnessed the IPL cricket match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings.
