President Solih meets with the members of the National Scout Association and presents Warrant of Appointment certificates to the newly appointed members

President, Chief Scout Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has this morning met with the members of National Scout Association and presents Warrant of Appointment certificates to the newly appointed members to the National Scout Association Council. The event was held at the President’s Office.

The newly appointed members are as follows:
1. Mrs. Aishath Ahlaam as Chief Commissioner at the National Scout Association Council
2. Mr. Abdul Hameed Abdul Rahmaan as Scout Council Member
3. Ibrahim Maiz Mohamed as Treasurer at the National Scout Association

Following the appointments, the President met with the members of the National Scout Association where the members briefed the President on the ongoing activities, planned works, and requirements of the Association. In this regard, they highlighted the Jamboree and trainings that they are arranging for this year. In addition, the members of the National Scout Association shared challenges being faced while conducting activities.

During the meeting, President Solih stated that the government would take necessary action to tackle the problems.
