Vice President meets with members of NGO “One Fuvammulah”

Vice President has met with the members of the NGO based in Fuvammulah City, “One Fuvammulah”. The meeting was held today at the President’s Office.

Members of the NGO briefed the Vice President on the activities carried out by the NGO; especially the social activities conducted with the community’s participation. Members also shared with the Vice President, a number of concerns raised by the populace of the city.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice President assured that the government always prioritises to carry out projects with the input from the residents. He also encouraged “One Fuvammulah” for the public awareness campaigns organised in the island in an effort to tackle social issues.
