The Ambassador of Australia to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Bryce Hutchesson, paid his farewell call on Vice President Faisal Naseem, this afternoon, at the President’s Office.
During the call, the Vice President conveyed thanks and appreciation for the continuous support and services provided to the Maldives during the Ambassador’s tenure.
Noting the strong relationship between the two countries, the Vice President expressed hope and confidence that the Maldives and Australia will continue working together on issues of mutual concern to further strengthen these existing ties.
During the meeting, the Vice President also expressed his gratitude to the Australian government for their consistent support in the education sector. Moreover, the Vice President shed light on promoting the Maldives tourism sector in Australia.
Ambassador Hutchesson assured his commitment to continue working closely with the Government of Maldives in further strengthening bilateral relations between the Maldives and Australia.
The call ended with the President wishing the Ambassador success in all his future endeavors.
