President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived in Maamendhoo Island of Haddhummathi Atoll this morning, as part of his current visit to some islands of Haddhummathi Atoll.
Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by the island's community.
Prior to the visit, President Yameen visited Hithadhoo Island, and inaugurated the island’s harbour this morning.
During this tour, the President is also scheduled to visit Maabaidhoo Island and inaugurate the island’s harbor. Moreover, the President is also scheduled to visit Gan Island and inaugurate the Thundi District harbour and inaugurate the Haddhummathi link road. Moreover, President Yameen is also scheduled to visit Fonadhoo Island and initiate the island’s water services.
