President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has attended the Asian Cup Qualifiers match: Maldives vs. Palestine that was played at the National Stadium tonight.

Tonight’s match was a group-D match from the ongoing Asian Cup Qualifiers. The two teams previously played a match which ended with Nil-Nil. Tonight’s 93 minute match was won by Palestine with a lead of 3 goals to Nil.

The President was accompanied at the stadium by Minister-Chairman of the Palestinian Higher Council for Youth and Sports, His Excellency General Jibreel M. M. Al Rajoub, Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Iruthisham Adam, Minister of Defence and National Security, Hon. Adam Shareef, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture, Hon. Dr. Mohamed Shainee, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Dr. Mohamed Asim and Minister of Health, Hon. Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim.
