President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has this evening departed to Malaysia, to attend the Annual General Assembly of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO).
During his trip, the President will also meet with the Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato' Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak.
The President is being accompanied by the two Deputy Leaders of the Progressive Party of Malives (PPM), Member of Parliament Hon. Abdul Raheem Abdulla, and Minister of Tourism H.E. Moosa Zameer. The Secretary General of PPM, Member of Parliament Dr. Abdulla Khaleel is also accompanying the President during his trip.
