President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has departed on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.
As part of his visit, President Yameen will meet King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and Senior Ministers of the Saudi Government. During these meetings, discussions will be focused on further strengthening the long existing ties between the brotherly nations – especially in terms of investment, infrastructure development, and exploring additional opportunities of mutual benefit.
President Yameen is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Minister of Foreign Affairs, H. E. Dr. Mohamed Asim, Minister of Economic Development, H. E. Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture H. E. Dr. Mohamed Shainee, Minister of State, Foreign Relations, at the President’s Office, H. E. Mohamed Naseer, and Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H. E. Abdulla Hameed.
