Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan pays a courtesy call on the President

His Excellency Katsuyuki Kawai, the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan paid a courtesy call on the President of Maldives His Excellency Abdulla Yameen Abdul Qayoom, at the President’s office this morning.

During the call, the President welcomed the Special Advisor to the Maldives and expressed his gratitude for the generous contributions and support by the Government of Japan in the economic and social development of Maldives.

The President and the Special advisor discussed on the areas of further cooperation between the two countries at the international and bilateral level.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Dr. Mohamed Asim, and Minister of State for Foreign Relations at the President’s Office, Mr. Mohamed Naseer accompanied the President at the Call.
