Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed this afternoon met with Mr. Thomas Litscher, the Ambassador of Switzerland to the Maldives and Mr. Vladimir P. Mikhaylov, the Ambassador of Russia to the Maldives.
During the two separate meetings held at the President’s Office, Vice President Dr Waheed briefed both ambassadors on the current political situations of Maldives and the challenges the government was facing.
Vice president and both ambassadors also discussed ways of further strengthening the existing close relations between the Maldives and their respective countries.
