Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor has on Wednesday evening, attended the opening ceremony of the Milo Kids Football Fiesta, organized by the Soccer Veterans Association of Maldives. The tournament is being held at the Henveiru Football Stadium.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice President pointed out that football was the Maldives’ national sport, and noted the importance of introducing children to football at a young age. He also expressed his hopes that this football fiesta would turn out to be a success.
