Four agreements have been signed between the Government of Maldives and the Government of Pakistan today.
The MoU on cooperation in combating illicit trafficking and abuse of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors; the MoU on bilateral cooperation in the field of sports; and the MoU on health cooperation were signed by Minister at the President’s Office Hon. Mohamed Hussain Shareef, from the Maldivian side. Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Shiham signed the MoU on cooperation in the field of education.
The ceremony was attended by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
