President Mohamed Nasheed has met the families of three 13 year old Ahmed Junaid, his brother 9 year old Ibrahim Shadhin, and 9 year old Ali Ashraf, who went missing in sea after they left Hulhudhuffaaru of Raa Atoll in a canoe two days ago.
The President visited Hulhudhuffaaru today to meet the families of the three boys during his tour of Raa Atoll that he began this morning.
Meeting the families of the three boys, President Nasheed said he was deeply saddened by the news and expressed his grief and deep sympathy for their loss.
Maldives National Defence Force search team is still searching for three boys.
