The President noted that despite the differences among us, we must come together united, and bring development and prosperity to the people.

Continuing on, the President said that controlling the human emotions such as anger, hatred and envy was the essence of unity, which in turn leads to stability in the community.

Noting the first step of instilling good morals in the society began with our children, the President said that our responsibility today was to start building a new generation. He also said that in the globalised world of the 21st century, we must first overcome the challenges within ourselves before tackling those posed to us by external influences.
