President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has on Sunday ratified the Bill to Repeal Act on the Detention and Imprisonment of Persons for More than Seven Days.
The Bill was passed by the Parliament at the third sitting of its third session, on 21 October 2014. Following ratification, the Act has been published in the Government Gazette.
