The New Ambassador of Thailand accredited to the Maldives, H.E. Nopporn Adchariyavanich, presented his letter of credence to President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom this morning.
At the ceremony held at the President’s Office to present the credentials, President Yameen congratulated Ambassador Adchariyavanich.
Meeting the new Ambassador afterwards, the President and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations that exist between the two countries and ways to further strengthen ties.
The President and the Ambassador further explored opportunities for increasing cooperation between the Maldives and Thailand in areas of Fisheries, Agriculture and Trade and Investments.
