President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has attended the awarding ceremony of the 29th National Quran Competition.
At the ceremony held at the Islamic Centre today, the President and the Vice President conferred awards to top prize winners of this year’s competition. The First Lady awarded the prizes to individuals who had committed the Quran in its entirety to memory.
