President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today ratified the Bill on Sexual Abuse and Harassment, and the Bill on Sexual Offences.
The two Bills were passed by the Parliament at the Eighth sitting of its First Session, on 27 April 2014. Following ratification, the Acts have been published in the Government Gazette.
