President ratifies Four Bills passed by the Parliament

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today ratified the Tenth Amendment to the “Export and Import Act of Maldives” (Act No. 31/79), the ‎First Amendment to the “Environment Protection and Preservation Act of Maldives” (Act No. 4/93), ‎the Second Amendment to the “Pension Act of Maldives” (Act No. 8/2009), and the First Amendment to the “President’s and Vice President’s Benefits Act” (Act No. 11/2009).

The Bills were passed by the Parliament at the 7th sitting of its first session, on 21st April 2014. The Acts have been published in the Government Gazette following ratification.
