President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of greetings to the Maldivian people, on the occasion of the country’s adherence to Islam.
In his message, the President has urged parents, guardians, and teachers, to put in every effort to boost Islamic spirit in the hearts of our youngsters, and to give them an upbringing within the Islamic principles, in order to build a robust generation.
The President has called on the people to be vigilant of those trying to weaken our religious faith. He also warned about those trying to break up the religious unity among the Maldivian people.
