Cabinet recommends revoking government’s decision to make Addu City Equatorial Convention Centre zone an uninhabited area

The Cabinet, in its meeting today, has advised President Dr Mohamed Waheed to revoke government’s decision to make the Addu City Equatorial Convention Centre zone an uninhabited area. The Cabinet made this recommendation after discussing a paper submitted by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.

The decision to make the Addu City Equatorial Convention Centre zone and Hankede Island uninhabited areas, were made by the previous government following a cabinet recommendation on November 29, 2011.
