The Chargé d'Affaires at the American Embassy, William Weinstein, has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, discussions were held on the current political and social situation of the Maldives.
President Waheed briefed Mr Weinstein on the measures undertaken by the government to ensure a transparent, free and fair electoral process.
