Ambassador of South Korea accredited to the Maldives, Jongmoon Choi has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, the President and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed hopes of further strengthening these relations.
President Waheed briefed the Ambassador on the investment opportunities in the Maldives for South Korean investors, especially in the areas of tourism and infrastructure development.
Highlighting the close relationship the Maldives has with Korea, Ambassador Choi reassured of Korea’s continuous support and cooperation to the Maldives.
