President Nasheed has said that it is through dialogue and deliberation that positive outcomes will be achieved. The President made this statement while speaking to the people of Kurendhoo of Faadhippolhu atoll, today. Further, he said that resorting to any form of force would not produce good results.

Noting the importance the people of Kurendhoo gave for education, the President said that he was aware of the people’s concerns over Kurendhoo School. He, however, called on the people to resolve these concerns through deliberation. He also said that we should be free from jealousy, sedition and bitterness and focus towards real developmental efforts.

President Nasheed inquired about the well-being of the people of Kurendhoo and assured that the government would try its best to fulfil the wishes of the people of the island.

Drawing attention to the issues faced by the people of Kurendhoo, the President shared information about government’s efforts to solve these issues.
