President Dr Mohamed Waheed has appointed Mr Mohamed Naseer as the High Commissioner of Maldives to India.
The presentation of letter of appointment to Mr Naseer was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
Speaking at the function, President Waheed congratulated the new High Commissioner. The President also expressed confidence that High Commissioner Naseer would protect and promote the interest of the people of Maldives, and work to enhance cooperation between the Maldives and India.
