His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and the extensive devastation caused by recent flash floods and heavy rains in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The President conveyed his condolences in a post on his official X account.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, President Dr Muizzu extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and all those affected by the disaster.
The President affirmed that, in this time of hardship, the Maldives stands in solidarity with the Government and the brotherly people of Pakistan.
