New Ambassador of Indonesia accredited to the Maldives, Harimawan Suyitno presented his letter of credence to President Dr Mohamed Waheed this morning.
At the ceremony held at the President’s Office to present the credentials, President Waheed welcomed Ambassador Suyitno.
Meeting the new Ambassador afterwards, the President and the Ambassador discussed ways to further strengthen the existing relations between the Maldives and Indonesia. President Waheed noted the importance of exploring new areas of bilateral cooperation, and establishing strong bonds in those areas.
