Honorary Consul of the Republic of Maldives to Nepal Nirvana Chaudhary has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed. The meeting was held at the President’s Office this morning.
At the meeting, the President enquired on the current status of Nepal. The Honorary Consul briefed the President on the political and economic state of Nepal; and Nepal’s environment friendly policies.
The Honorary Consul to Nepal assured President Waheed that he would put in every effort to ensure the wellbeing of Maldivians residing in Nepal.
