President Mohamed Nasheed has sent President’s Advisor on Political Affairs Mr Hassan Afeef, and Minister of State for Home Affairs Mr Mohamed Hunaif to Dhaka, Bangladesh as his special envoys to offer encouragement to the Maldives national football team, who will play India in the final of SAFF Championship tomorrow.
In an interview before departing to Dhaka, Mr Afeef said, the President requests all government employees and the staff of state owned companies, excepting the staff of uniform bodies, to dress in red to work tomorrow, in support of the Maldives national football team.
