President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today met with members of the Noonu Holhudhoo Councils, and members of Laamu Atoll Councils.
At two separate meetings held at the President’s Office this afternoon, the council members expressed their support to the President and his government, on behalf of the people. They also briefed the President on the developmental challenges faced in the islands.
President Waheed inquired about the concerns of the people, and assured that the issues raised would be looked into, and necessary measures would be taken in solving them.
