While addressing the people of Kumundhoo this morning, President Dr Mohamed Waheed has appealed to everyone to work hand in hand, regardless of their political views, or the parties they belonged to. The President is currently on a tour of some islands in Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
The President spoke on the significance of strengthening unity and cooperation among the people. The President further said that development could be brought to a place only if peace and calm was established, and that creating conflict would make development impossible.
In his speech, President Waheed highlighted the issues faced in Kumundhoo, and the measures being taken by the government in solving them.
