President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today met with members of the Raa Atoll Council, and members of Raa Ingurandhoo Island Council.
At two separate meetings held at the President’s Office this afternoon, President Waheed inquired about the well-being and concerns of the people.
The council members expressed their support to the President for the reform measures being taken in moving forward with the country. They also briefed the President on the developmental challenges faced by the people.
President Waheed assured that issues raised from both the councils would be looked into, and necessary measures would be taken.
