President Mohamed Nasheed has today ratified Child Sex Abuse (Special Provisions) Bill.
Following the ratification, Acts have been published in the Government Gazette.
The Act specifies special provisions to deal with sexual offences committed against children and covers stages of investigation, trial and sentence.
