President Mohamed Nasheed, attended the function to mark Sri Lanka’s 64th National Day. The function was held last evening at Dharubaaruge.
Speaking at the function President Nasheed highlighted on the key role Sri Lanka and its economic growth plays in South Asia and the Indian Ocean.
The Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the Maldives also spoke at the function. He focused on the close ties that exist between the two countries and Sri Lanka’s commitment to continue the close relations.
