As part of the tour launched yesterday to selected islands in Thaa Atoll, President Mohamed Nasheed has visited Gaadhiffushi and Thimarafushi.
Meeting the Island Councils of Gaadhiffushi and Thimarafushi the President exchanged views with the Council members on various developmental projects in the pipeline for the islands. The President also inspected the educational and health facilities available in both the islands.
The President attended the foundation laying ceremony of Th. Thimarafushi Mosque ‘Masjidhu Hassan Haji’as well.
