President Mohamed Nasheed has arrived back in Malé this afternoon, after concluding his visit to UAE, to attend the jury meeting of “Zayed Future Energy Prize”.
On arrival, the President visited “Gaa Koshi” area, the land plot allotted for the construction of new flats, as part of the government’s pledge to provide affordable housing. During his visit, President Nasheed observed the work being done at the construction site. He also met with the local media and briefed them on his recent trip to UAE, and the progress of the government’s housing plans.
