President Mohamed Nasheed has departed to Addu City this afternoon, to attend the 17th SAARC Summit, which will begin on 10 November, and to oversee the latest preparations currently underway for the summit.
Prior to his departure, the President met with the local media, and briefed on the most recent developments in the preparations for the SAARC Summit, and the goals set to be achieved at this year’s summit.
