Former Malaysian Finance Minister pays Courtesy Call on the President

Former Malaysian Minister of Finance Tun Daim Zainuddin has paid a courtesy call on President Mohamed Nasheed this morning.

At the meeting held at the President’s Office, President Nasheed briefed the Former Minster on the many programmes carried out by the government for the sustainable development of the country’s economy. Discussions were also held on the ongoing housing projects in the Maldives, and the government’s policy on environmental issues.
