Former Malaysian Minister of Finance Tun Daim Zainuddin has paid a courtesy call on Vice President Dr. Mohamed Waheed this morning.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office, discussions were held on the close bilateral relations between the Maldives and Malaysia, and ways to further strengthen the relations.
The Vice President briefed the Former Minister on the various developmental projects undertaken by the government, mainly in the development of the tourism industry, and the many housing projects currently underway in the Maldives.
