President Mohamed Nasheed has laid the foundation for a Junior College in Ken’dhikulhudhoo of Noonu Atoll, as part of the government’s plans to establish 10 Junior Colleges in different regions of the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, the President noted the importance of instituting such colleges in the Maldives, highlighting the government’s strategies in the development and growth of the education sector.
