Vice President meets UNDP Associate Administrator

Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed has met with the Associate Administrator at UNDP, Rebecah Grynspan.

At the meeting, the Vice President expressed his gratitude to the UNDP for their continuous contribution to various developmental programmes in the Maldives. He noted on the areas in which the Maldives requires assistance from UNDP, in developing the pension scheme and the insurance scheme in Maldives.

Vice President Dr Waheed and the Associate Administrator exchanged ideas on climate change and its undesirable effects to the environment. The Vice President also shared information on the Maldives’ works against climate change.
