President Mohamed Nasheed has today met with the delegation of China Literature and Arts Foundation.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office, discussions were held on the importance of Maldivians learning Chinese, since the number of tourists visiting from China continues to increase. The President also expressed his gratitude to the Chinese government for the National Art Gallery and the National Museum in Male’, built under the Chinese aid.
China Literature and Arts Foundation had presented a cultural show in Male’, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations established between the Maldives and China, next year.
