Madam Ilham Hussain, Spouse of the Vice President has paid a courtesy call on the Bangladeshi President Zillur Rahman. The meeting was attended by Minister of Education Shifa Mohamed and Maldivian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Ahmed Sareer.
Madam Ilham remarked on the close relationship between the two countries, at today’s meeting.
Further, President Rahman assured that the Bangladeshi Government would aid the Maldives in its educational development projects.
Madam Ilham Hussain is in Bangladesh at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's invitation, to attend a conference on "Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Disabilities in Bangladesh and South Asia".
