President Mohamed Nasheed and First Lady Madam Laila Ali hosted the official reception on the occasion of the Independence Day. The dinner was held this evening at Muleeaage.
Among the invitees to the reception were Cabinet Ministers, Members of the Parliament, State Ministers, foreign dignitaries who arrived for the Independence Day functions, Executives of the Government, and heads of various independent agencies.
The President and First Lady greeted all invitees and offered Independence Day felicitations at the official reception hosted to mark the 46th Independence Day of the Maldives.
