President Mohamed Nasheed has today established Kulhudhuffushi Development Corporation Limited as a government company with the government and the Kulhudhuffushi Council as its shareholders.
The key objectives of the Kulhudhuffushi Development Corporation would be to ensure economic and social development, and to utilize the “Kulhudhuffushi Development Zone” under the Kulhudhuffushi Land Use Plan, according to the government’s economic and social development policies. Objectives of the corporation also include establishing means of income for the people and to facilitate more business investments.
