President Mohamed Nasheed has visited Rin’budhoo, Meedhoo and Ban’didhoo as part of his tour of Dhaalu Atoll that he began yesterday.
Meeting the Island Councilors, the President spoke on the government’s commitment to decentralization and delegating more powers to the people.
The President also exchanged views with the Island Council members on planned development projects for the islands. Furthermore, the President underlined government policies on basic services such as the provision of primary healthcare and quality education.
