President Mohamed Nasheed has visited Dhaalu Atoll Hulhudheli, and met with Hulhudheli Island Council today.
At the meeting with Hulhudheli Island Council, the President urged the councillors to carry out public health services under their direct supervision.
The President also exchanged views with the council on the government’s programmes for the island’s development.
The President made the visit to Hulhudheli as part of his tours to meet island councils, to discuss necessary arrangements to deliver government services and programmes, through island councils.
During the visit to Hulhudheli, the President visited the Hulhudheli Power House, the garbage disposal area and coastal erosion site. He also visited Hulhudheli School and Hulhudheli Health Centre.
