President Mohamed Nasheed has met with World Bank Country Director for the Maldives and Sri Lanka Diarietoy Gaye.
Discussions at the meeting held at the President’s Office today centred on World Bank funded development programmes in the Maldives as the possibility of assistance and support from the Bank for future programmes.
The President also reflected on the history of the Maldives’ interaction with the Bank and thanked the Bank for their support to the Maldives.
